Field Assistant - Armidale region of NSW

We’re seeking an experienced Field Assistant to support field operations and assist with ongoing exploration programs in Northern NSW near Armidale. This hands-on role involves assisting geologists with drill program logistics, sample collection, site preparation, and data handling across multiple exploration sites, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Duties

1. RC/AC Duties including chipping sampling and sample dispatch
2. Soil Sampling
3. Diamond Core cutting
4. Working near diamond drill rigs
5. Data collection and entry
6. Dispatching samples
7. Manual labour tasks
8. Take part in safety and pre-start meetings

Requirements

1. Previous experience working as a Field Assistant is essential
2. MUST execute a strong focus on health and safety in the workplace at all times
3. MUST be physically fit and able to work in remote conditions
4. MUST have a Manual Drivers licence
5. Flexibility with rosters required

Initially a short-term contract, this opportunity could lead to ongoing work through the remainder of 2025.
