Contract Field Assistant

About the Role

Our company is seeking a Field Assistant to support an upcoming drilling campaign in Victoria for a 6-week contract role.

The role will involve assisting with drilling operations, sample collection, and logistical support in a field-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in drilling and sampling operations

Handle and manage drill core and sample logistics

Maintain accurate field records and data collection

Operate and maintain field equipment and vehicles

Support site setup, demobilization, and general field duties

Follow OHS protocols and environmental procedures

Requirements:

Prior experience in a Field Assistant, Exploration, or similar role (preferred but not essential)

Physical fitness and ability to work in remote locations

A manual driver’s license (4WD experience preferred)

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team

Ideally you are already based in Victoria
