Field Assistant

Our company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Field Assistant to support their upcoming RC drilling campaign. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an active exploration project in North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with drill site setup and logistics
2. Sample collection, processing, and bagging from drill rigs
3. Maintain accurate sample records and labels
4. Conduct routine field maintenance and site housekeeping
5. Support the team with general field tasks as required
6. Follow all safety protocols and site procedures

Requirements

1. Prior experience in a field assistant, sampling, or exploration role (preferred)
2. Ability to handle manual labor in remote conditions
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
4. Awareness of workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations
5. 4WD experience and manual driver’s license (highly regarded)
6. Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol testing
