Senior Geologist

Our company is an exploration and development company with the intention to expedite the pathway to production. With a recently released updated MRE of 1.1Moz @ 3.3g/t Au, the company is entering into the exciting next stage of resource development while continuing regional exploration.

We are seeking a Senior Geologist with the right experience and attitude to join our team at Mt Ida and be an integral part of the next stages of development.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of Geologists
2. Responsible for the supervision of site and overall safety systems
3. Contractor and stakeholder management
4. Assist with technical projects to advance feasibility studies
5. Delivery of sound geological models
6. Management of budgets

Key requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience
2. Experience with managing multiple RC and diamond programmes is essential
3. Experience in various modelling techniques using geological software (Leapfrog / Micromine)
4. Remote camp experience is required.
5. Experience across both exploration & resource development workflows (Mining exposure is also advantageous)
6. Excellent communication skills
